Men and women alike have trouble removing fat in the love handle and belly region, the reason is, this is the first place fat is stored when you start gaining weight and its the last place the fat comes off when you lose weight.

The leaner you get, the harder it is to lose fat because the body wants to keep those last energy reservers for survival purposes. If you try brute force dieting to get rid of that last bit of fat which is stored in the love handles and over the lower abs, you will end up burning off muscle as well as fat – not what we want! What I’m gonna show you in this video is how to get ripped without burning off muscle by using carb cycling. And when your bodyfat is low enough, the last fat stores are removed and for most people, that is the love handles and over the lower abs. This is not spot fat removal, there is no such thing!

Carb cycling is an amazing fat loss technique, its not a fad diet, its fine tuning of the zig zag diet developed by Dr Fred Hatfield several decades ago but its not for everyone. If you have more than 20lbs to lose, just good old fashioned nutrition and exercise is all thats required to lose weight. Where carb cycling shines is for those who are already fairly lean, those with 2-pack or 4-pack abs who just cant seem to get any leaner. The best way to burn belly fat is with interval training and resistance training, not with long, slow cardio training. We are too busy these days to waste our time with cardio training.

Instead, what is better is a total body bodyweight circuit to start each workout that takes 3-5 minutes. So for example, a squatting exercise, a push up and an abdominal exercise.

Once you have completed the warm up, you can now move into strength training using non-competing supersets. In non-competing supersets, you’ll combine a pushing movement with a pulling movement where one muscle group works while the other rests.

Following your strength training workout, finish off with a workout that is research proven to be more effective at burning belly fat than cardio training, interval training.

Yes there are foods out there called Super Foods which will help with belly fat. Do some research and look into it. They are going to be high in fiber and low cal.

A combination of HIIT cardio and working out abs should do the trick right?

The HIIT cardio burns calories and boosts overall metabolism.

Now, when you work the abdominal muscles, would that result in burning more fat around the localized (abdominal) area?

Like I got the same theory for any body part. If you combine the HIIT cardio with, say, squats and hard leg muscle building workouts, it would burn extra fat around the legs.

Does this make sense at all??

Cardio = Way to lose weight! You need to get your heart rate up for 20 minutes + in order to begin to burn fat.
Muscle can help burn fat! So yes! Both! It’s good to combine cardio and muscle training since both of them speeds up your metabolism and burns fat! Good luck!

well ive been working out for quite a while now and so far so good i already have a 4pack and i could feel it when i flex but i wanna go to a 6 pack and im almost there but it dosent show that much because of all the body fat i have whats the fastest way to burn it all off ?

Burning fat is 95% about what you eat. If your diet is right, and you aren’t eating too many calories, but at the same time you are eating enough calories, and you keep exercising, you’ll burn it off.

How exactly does the body burn fat? How is it broken down and used as energy? Once the fat is burned where is it deposited?

When your body moves (or any cell in your body does any type of ”work”) it needs energy. The amount of energy needed is measured as a unit of heat—or a calorie. The fuel to produce this energy comes from several sources, mostly fat and carbs (glucose), and occasionally amino acids (protein). How and when fat is ‘”burned” (or metabolized to provide energy for the body) and how that affects body fat levels and weight is a very complex area of physiology research. There have been hundreds, maybe thousands, of studies exploring the utilization of fat for energy under a variety of different conditions. There is still much to be understood, but this is how we know it works so far:

Whether you are watching TV or running around a track, the fuel your body uses to give you the calories your cells need for energy comes from burning mostly fat and carbs. Your body nearly always burns a mix of both fat calories and carb calories. So normally, for every calorie burned, the fuels are around a 50/50 split of both fat and carbs.

How hard you are moving during exercise is one major determinant of which fuel your body will use. Carbs provide a faster energy source. So whenever you need to do something fast or produce force, carbs are the better fuel. Fats are favored during long, low-intensity activities. It’s not that you stop using one or the other fuel, it’s that the ratio of both shifts depending on your activity. In more scientific terms, you alternate between aerobic (more fat-burning) and anaerobic (more carb-burning) metabolism.

I’m 25, good health, but I do have asthma. Not very bad. I weigh 202 pounds. Lean not fat. I do have a little fat but I’m mostly lean. I want to get down to 145. How many calories do I burn? Why is it good for your heart to beat fast or get to a certain level? I really need a little schooling on this. Thanks. Oh, after I eat, how long do I wait to exercise and hoe long do I walk on the threadmill?

after eating wait about 30 minutes to an hour or more if you feel you have to. walk on the treadmill about 30 minutes each day, plenty of water(water makes u feel less hungry), and stretchs before you jog or walk,(jog or walk for about 20 to 30 minutes).split your day up into six small meals eating lots of fruits and vegetables(carrots, broccoli, tomatoes,zucchini.) try making light soups with alot of veggies and seasoned water. hope this helps(p.s. let me know how this worked out, email me at redtulips@hotmail.com thnxx
